The Annual Producers Day
Sunday 25th June / 11am - 3pm
Celebrating the Winter Solstice
The Winter Solstice is celebrated by marking the shortest day of the year (21st June) and the longest night. Some also believe it is when the true “Winter” season starts and for us that means gratifying sessions of slow cooking with a good bottle of local wine, the smell of roasting chestnuts, smokehouses in full swing, the gathering of like-minded folk around the fire for great conversations…
It’s a celebration of our own favourite regional suppliers, farmers and growers as well as a few from further afield who present their products in a market style event with tastings and sales.
Join us in the Market Hall to meet the talented people behind the food; sample some of the best wines from the surrounding Macedon, Ballarat, Bendigo and Heathcote regions in the Tasting Tent.
In the Cooking School the line-up hosted by Alice “In Frames” Zaslavsky includes My Kitchen Rules presenter, Darren Robertson (Three Blue Ducks, The Farm at Byron Bay) and Kate Gibbs (cook and author of amongst other titles – the popular Margaret and Me).
Pre-book now. Limited tickets available at the gate on the day.
Entry includes a tasting glass, shopping bag, live cooking demonstrations, specialty talks and tastings.
